Fake Webcam is a really good tool if you wish to show some pre-recorded video via your chat messenger, instead of your actual webcam output.
The user loads the configured chat messenger and then plays the video in Fake Webcam. The person you are chatting with will receive the video played via this tool as your webcam image. You can trick all your friends!
You can define the frame rate at which you want to play/broadcast the video. This tool also has a preview window where you can view your videos prior to broadcasting them. The software works with various input formats like AVI, FLV, MPEG, MPG and WMV (however, it does not work properly with a few formats like MP4 and DVD). While this tool is compatible with Windows XP and 2000 server, it is not well tested against Windows 7 and Vista.
